A number of (1) individual diamonds have become (2) famous because of the
size. The largest of all known diamonds is the Cullinan, which was discovered in South
Africa in 1905 and was presented to Edward VII, king of the United Kingdom of Great
Britain and Northern Ireland, by the government of the Transvaal. The Cullinan
weighed 3, 106 carats before cutting and was pronounced by crystallographers to be a
fragment of a (3) considerably larger stone. When the stone was cut, a total of 105 gems
were produced, weighing 1, 063 carats in all. The largest of these was a stone called the
Star of Africa, the biggest cut diamond in (4) existence, and now set in the British
(5) royal scepter.
The Gift of the Magi
I read the story written by O. Henry. It was about a girl who had beautiful and awesome hair. Her name was Della. She was living with her husband, Jim. Jim had a expensive watch. That watch was his granfather’s and the his dad’s and it was very special watch for him. Della’s hair and Jim’s watch were the things that they were proud of. They were poor and they couldn’t give each other expensive gifts in Christmas. The next day would be Christmas and Della didn’t have enough money for Jim’s gift. She was sad and she didn’t know what to do. Finnaly she decided to cut her beautiful hair and sold it. She sold it especially for Jim’s gift. She bought gold watch chain, very simply made for Jim’s watch. She knew that he would like the chain but she was afraid about his reaction of her short hair. When Della showed Jim her short hair and the chain he was shocked. He didn’t know what to say, because he sold his watch to buy combs for Della’s hair.
It was very cute story. I liked it very much. It wasn’t about gifts or Christmas, it was about a strong relationship. Della and Jim were ready to do everything for each other. Nothing was more than their love and relationship. It’s the main idea of the story. We all should think like them, because nothing is more important then our families, friends and relatives.
The Great Gatsby By F. Scott Fitzgerald
In my younger and more vulnerable years my father gave me some advice that I’ve been turning over in my mindever since. ‘Whenever you feel like criticizing any one,’ he told me, ‘just remember that all the people in this world haven’t had the advantages that you’ve had.’ He didn’t say any more but we’ve always been unusually communicative in a reserved way, and I understood that he meant a great deal more than that. In consequence I’m inclined to reserve all judgments, a habit that has opened up many curious natures to me and also made me the victim of not a few veteran bores. The abnormal mind is quick to detect and attach itself to this quality when it appears in anormal person, and so it came about that in college I was unjustly accused of being a politician, because I was privy to the secret griefs of wild, unknown men. Most of the confidences were unsought—frequently I have feigned sleep, preoccupation, or a hostile levity when I realized by some unmistakable sign that an intimate revelation was quivering on the horizon—for the intimate revelations of young men or at least the terms in which they express them are usually plagiaristic and marred by obvious suppressions. Reserving judgments is a matter of infinite hope. I am still a little afraid of missing something if I forget that, as my father snobbishly suggested, and I snobbishly repeat a sense of the fundamental decencies is parcelled out unequally at birth.

My skills and capacities, achievements and failures
In this article, I would like to talk about my achievements and failures of this year. This year was a great experience for me, because everything was new: a new environment, a new school, new teachers, and so on. I can say that this year was a new stage in my life, which I overcame quite well. To be honest, at first I was very scared that I would not be able to adapt to the atmosphere of this school, to the order of learning, but to my delight, everything went very well. Now I have new and very good and devoted friends and teachers. This year was full of new achievements for me. This year I have implemented many interesting and instructive projects from English. This year my knowledge of English improved even more. I can easily watch and understand discussions, programs and movies in English. Although I think I still have a lot to grow. Now we are in a very difficult situation, but we and our teachers do all to continue our lessons and to improve our knowledge. I’m very grateful to all my teachers for all they doing for us. It’s really too hard to study like this (online), but I think that it is a big experience for us. In our lives possible everything and we must be ready for every moment. I belive that everything will be ok and we will return to our normal lives. This year besides achivements I have had failures too. But I think, that our failures help us to improve ourselves. I think that our failurs are our big lessons and they learn us many important things, they help us not to be wrong the next time. I want to highlight the most successful projects and topics of my opinion of this year.

Prayer for the world
We, the students and teachers of Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educational Complex, decided to implement this project, where we pray in different languages. I was presenting the Armenian prayer. The goal of the project is to show everyone that we are with them at this difficult time. All the people in the world are in this difficult situation, so we pray in different languages. We pray for all of us. We pray that everything will end well and we will return to our normal lives. All you have to do is believe that everything will be fine. We must be strong and overcome this difficult period together. I advise everyone to join us and pray with us. Through prayer, we must try to help those who really need help. We must pray together that we all be healthy and alert. Pray and belive.

The Necklace. Home reading
The main meaning of this story is greed, which destroys people and changes their lives for the worse. Greedy people will never achieve their goals. Such people want to achieve everything without work, without effort. Such people are mostly lazy and aimless. In this story, the woman wanted to have more. Her surroundings and way of life seemed poor, meaningless, and uninteresting to her. But one day her husband, who was a very ordinary man and did not have much money, bought an expensive ball ticket for her. The woman did not appreciate his torment, she started crying and said that she did not have a suitable dress. The husband also paid for the dress. But that was not enough for the woman either. She also wanted an expensive necklace. The husband offered to take it from her friend. The woman asked her friend to lend her a necklace. She chose the most beautiful and luxurious necklace from all the jewellery. The woman looked very beautiful at the ball and was different from everyone else. But when they returned home, the woman noticed that she had lost her necklace. They were very disappointed and didn’t have enough money to buy a new one. They started taking bills, borrowing money from people so that they could buy another necklace like that. Finally, they bought the necklace and returned it. But they had to work to pay all the bills. It took ten difficult years to pay all the taxes. One day the woman heard that the necklace, which she had borrowed was a copy and it was very cheap. It turns out that they had suffered in vain for so many years. In my opinion, this story was a great lesson for the woman, which proved that her greed ruined her and her husband’s life. There are many sayings summing up this story, but this is the closest one “As long as greed is stronger than compassion, there will always be suffering.”
