People work because they need money to live. What are other reasons that people work?

There are a lot of people for whom work is only for earning money. And we can’t blame them for that because it’s their life and only they can choose how they want to live it and what they want to do. But in my opinion our job needs to be more than just a way of earning money. It needs to be something that we really like and enjoy doing and we are ready to do that every single day. We need to be sure we are not going to be tired from that very soon. It is very difficult to do something without desire, forced. It can not create motivation to keep working and you will get exhausted too soon. So, I think most of us work because we really enjoy doing that and it’s making our life more and more interesting.
