1.Could you tell why O Henry called his story ” Witches’ Loaves.?
I think because at the end of the story the man called Miss Martha a witch. By saying that he meant that her bread with butter just destroyed his 3 months work. He got really mad and called her a witch. I think that’s why he called his story “Witch’s loaves”.
2.In the story ”Witches’ Loaves”, Miss Martha assumes that the man who buys stale bread is artist.
3. In ”Witches’ Loaves” the man is angry at Miss Martha because her kind gesture of adding butter to his bread has ruined his 3 months work.
4. What happens when a perceived act of kindness is nor received as such?
Will happen the same thing that happened in this story.

It was a story about a woman who was making bread and many many other delicious things and a man who was an artist. The man was buying only a stale bread all the time, so once Miss Martha decided to put into that stale bread a little bit butter. She thought that she did kind thing but it turned out that artist was using stale bread for his work and that butter in the stale bread just ruined his 3 months work. I think that this story shows us that not every time our perceived act of kindness is nor received as such and sometimes we need to ask people if they need our help and only after that we can help them by doing kind things.
